视频描述: [主讲人: Yonghui Li] [时间: 2011-06-13 15:50:00] 讲座简介: Cooperative communication has been shown to be an effective technique enabling single antenna users to share their antennas to create a virtual MIMO system, thus providing extra spatial diversity in wireless networks. Distributed coding is a type of channel coding strategy developed for cooperative wireless networks. As opposed to conventional channel coding schemes, distributed coding constructs the whole codeword in a distributed manner among the cooperative users. Properly designed distributed coding can effectively approach the capacity of cooperative wireless networks. In this talk, I will present an overview of recent development in distributed coding design for cooperative wireless networks and some open research problems in this area. 主讲人简介: Yonghui Li received his BSc and PhD degree in 1997 and 2003. From 1999–2003, he was affiliated with Linkair Communication Inc with responsibility for the design of physical layer solutions for the LAS-CDMA system. Since 2003, he has been with Centre of Excellence in Telecommunications, University of Sydney, Australia, where he is now an Associate Professor. He is also currently the Australian Queen Elizabeth II fellow. His current research interests are in the area of wireless communications. He is now an Executive Editor for European Transactions on Telecommunications (ETT), Editor for Journal of Networks, and was an Associate Editor for EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking from 2006-2008. He also served as the Editor for special issue on “advances in error control coding techniques” in EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, He has also been involved in the technical committee of several international conferences, such as ICC, Globecom, etc.
