MansoorShafi( Fellow IEEE) is an Adjunct Professor Victoria university and a Telecom Fellow in Spark New Zealand. He has extensively published in wireless communications and has contributed wireless systems standards in the ITU. He has received IEEE comsoc public service award in 1992 and Comsoc best tutorial paper award in 2004 and the IEEE Donald G Fink Award in 2011. In 2013, He was awarded the NZ order of Merit by Her Majesty the Queen for his services to wireless communications.
